Two’s Preschool Program

dsc_0073 Our North Phoenix two-year-old program is modeled to challenge and build a child’s social, physical, and intellectual abilities. Various activities, stimulating art projects, detailed learning centers, and age appropriate curriculum are incorporated into the classroom schedule to develop motor skills and encourage learning. We at Scottsdale Child Care & Learning Centers strive to assist in the development of self-help skills that create a feeling of independence and confidence in each child.

At our Phoenix daycare center, we know that monumental advancements in your two-year-old’s abilities are constantly occurring. A child who just turned two has a very different set of skills than a student nearing the age of three! For this reason, we have three two-year-old classrooms, each classroom building upon the last. Our two’s preschool classrooms are divided by ability and general age-appropriate guidelines, normally falling into three classrooms holding 24 to 28 month olds, 28 to 32 month olds, and 32 to 36 month olds.

Our year-round preschool curriculum consists of thematic learning units, as well as a weekly focus on a letter, number, shape, color, and concept. Our two’s preschool teachers build on our curriculum with hundreds of different learning activities that foster language and communication, cognitive skills, creativity, gross- and fine-motor skills, critical thinking skills, and personal and social skills.

Potty Training is a very important part of the life of your two-year-old, thus, it is integrated into each two’s preschool classroom schedules. Our teachers work in connection with our parents to potty train each child.
